TROPIPALMERAS S.A.S.
The story behind the foundation of Tropipalmeras dates back to 1992 in Florida, when his owner and founder Vicente Noguera started doing small landscape jobs after hurricane Andrew’s devastating impact. By 1998 he was subcontracted by National Landscaping Inc. on several bigger jobs like Red Road Linear Park in Pinecrest, Miami International Airport, I-75 between Griffin and Sheridan for DOT, and more. In 2002 he moved to Barranquilla, Colombia, created the company and started growing trees, palms, shrubs and groundcovers, for later use in his landscaping jobs and exports.
The fields the company acquired in 2002 increased over the years to the actual +140 acres cultivated in native and ornamental trees, palms and shrubs. The climate at the nursery allows for year round growth, due to its location right above the equator.
Every tree we plant is irrigated and nurtured appropriately, free of pests and disease. The agronomists at the fields carefully plan for their growth and development, considering the importance of delivering high quality plants that are strong, healthy and beautiful.
Besides growing trees and plants for exports and providing large landscaping jobs nationally, Tropipalmeras also provides irrigation and landscape lightning designs and installations, as well as landscape and irrigation systems maintenance to local developers, real estate owners, public agencies, property managers and homeowners. We are leaders in the industry in Colombia.
